If you’ve ever wanted to go backstage at an awards show, the Grammys would be an ideal event to have your wish granted. Not only would you be mingling with the latest and greatest pop music stars in the world, you’d also likely be getting one of the coveted gift bags being handed out at this year’s 60th iteration of the music world’s biggest celebration. Distinctive Assets is the marketing company charged with putting together a covetable list of freebies for the biggest names in the entertainment world to enjoy (and hopefully Instagram or tweet about), and this year it has put together a literal duffle bag of sway worth over a whopping $20,000. Here’s a look at some of the more edible items inside.
New York-based Liquor Lab is giving away mixology classes worth over $5,000, and products in the bag will include Bulletproof Coffee, a copy of hygge-inspired Cook Yourself Happy: The Danish Way, UberEats credits, a marijuana box subscription from Lucky Box Club, candies from UnReal Snacks, Southern Wicked Lemonade, and Ocean Spray products.
For the jet set, Alpha Priority Worldwide is handing out a free airport concierge service worth $1,500, which supplies subscribers with ground transportation service and a personal escort in or out of airport security and baggage and promises a flawless transition from the plane to the car. Debuting to the public for the first time since the Rio Olympics is McLear’s M1 smart ring, which allows, among other phone-linked services, a wallet feature that allows wearers to pay for groceries, gas, or anything else they desire with the swipe of their jewelry.
Among other non-food items are, of course, makeup products, spa treatments, Tanzanite jewelry, hand-blinged-out Fingerlings toys (a sold-out hit last Christmas), teleprompter lessons, SmileDirectClub aligners, and all sorts of skin and body detoxifying products.
The Recording Academy’s 60th Grammy Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden on Sunday, January 28 at 7:30 p.m. on CBS.
